Lela Bloom and the Trio consists of Lela Bloom, Buck Powell, Allan Rogers and Ted Seibs. Lela Bloom is a native of Little Rock. She spent most of her youth touring the United States and in Europe, performing for the King of Sweden and the Arch Bishop of Canterbury. After graduating from Hendrix College she continued her musical career, ending up in Manhattan, performing with the Count Bassie players, Al Grey and Buddy Tate as well as renowned jazz artists Bobby Durham, Major Holly and Sir Roland Hannah.
